What exactly is an SBI Clerk?
SBI Clerk is a national-level banking examination administered by the State Bank of India on an annual basis to hire candidates for Clerical cadre/Junior Associate positions in various divisions of the bank throughout the nation. SBI Clerk is a graduate-level examination that provides qualified hopefuls with entry-level clerical positions.
The selection procedure for the SBI Clerk test consists of two stages: the preliminary examination and the main examination. The ultimate selection of applicants is made on the basis of their performance in these examinations. In order to be eligible to sit for the Mains Test, candidates must first pass the Prelims exam.
The final selection will be made on the basis of the results of the Mains examination. The individuals that are chosen will be in charge of all client-related contacts and business operations in general.
The SBI Clerk Exam will be held in 2022.

Exam Pattern for SBI Clerk Preliminary Examination
The SBI Clerk Prelims test is divided into three portions. There are a total of 100 questions, each of which is worth 100 points.
The exam will last one hour and fifteen minutes.
In the Prelims test, there is a negative marking system in place. For each incorrect response, 0.25 points will be subtracted from your final score.
All of the sections have their own set of time guidelines.
It does not have a sectional cut off for this examination.
Candidates who pass this test will be entitled to take part in the Mains exam, which will be held in the following month.

Pattern of the SBI Clerk Mains Examination
The SBI Clerk Mains test comprises of a total of 190 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) divided into four sections.
There is a set amount of time allotted for completing all of the parts.
For each incorrect response, one-fourth of the total points is deducted.
After passing the main test with the required cut off marks, students are qualified to sit for the local language examination in their respective regions.
